Hotnewton, can you make a gif that stays still? Do you know what I mean? No movement, one frame, but obviously a gif. I've seen them I don't know what the process is or if you do this type of gif. So only if you can, I would like to capture the quote (the video is quotes, one after another) in this video that begins with the words, "He was a fatish but active man of paralyzing stupidity" it's about the 3rd quote from the beginning of the video. One quote. Not just those words, of course but the quote. I don't want it to keep starting and restaring in an abvious way, it just stays. i quickly read through a tutorial on making them and i think i'll be able to do it once i get the proper software/hardware... not sure when that will be though. most likely near the end of summer.

That's real good Hotnewton. I wonder if it's possible for you to just show the boat with the people in it...no beginning and no end...? Kind of a still picture but not a still. If I am not making sense never mind:-) I don't know terminologies or proper descriptions sometimes of what I have in mind. I want the boat with the people but I want it to look like a film just it doesn't change...

The gif is jumpy because the boat move upwards then we go back downward from the previous frame. Sorry I didn't think of that. if the boat stayed on one spot and just the water had movement so that the gif has life...that would be ideal. But now I am probably talking about a cinemagraph. The first gif works great, thanks a bunch!
